Prevention, Education, Inspection, and Investigation
The department employs several fire inspectors who conduct over 500 inspections per year. Inspectors also assist with other fire inspection duties such as pre-plans, resident smoke detector installations, Knox Box maintenance and checks, fire prevention education, and fire investigations.
